“How does it feel to be torn apart?”

The animated short film Zoe was a final project at the Salzburg University for Applied Sciences, produced in 2016. The animated film is about overcoming an emotional barrier – it focuses on a moment in which the protagonist has to perform an action that requires an enormous emotional overcoming. This moment of overcoming takes up most of the film and is shown in a very surreal and expressive way. It is about the emotional change and the emotional swings associated with such a moment. The film depicts a situation that actually lasts only a few seconds, first in real life and during this action it makes a change to the depiction of the emotional inner life of the character.
